It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderlygentleman in his 80's arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb.

He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him.

I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast
with his wife. I inquired as to her
health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in
five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, 'And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?'

He smiled as he patted my hand and said, 'She doesn't
know me, but I still know who she is.'

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, 'That is
the kind of love I want in my life.'

True love is neither physical, nor romantic.True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

00:00 papa came out from the room, went to the toilet. mama sang him the birthday song 'happy birthday to you~ happy birthday to you~ happy birthday to you~~' papa continue 'where you keep your money?~' hehe then both of them laughed :D

what a sweet couple. papa is 61 year this year. on today birthday, he gonna be fasting and let doctor checked, if the tube inserted in his urine tract can be removed after 2-3 months. if yes, then he needs to be unconscious in the hospital.

wish papa is always in the pink of health. mama is always be with him to continue enjoy the world and the love of family :)

last nite, eldest bro brought yujet to banting, so we can take care of the little one while bro's mum in law having something to do. my papa n mama went out for dinner, so I alone taking care the boy.

I was so sleepy n tired, but the boy non stop saying 'no sleep' :( I watched cartoon program with him, story telling, sing him songs.. still after drinking milk, he continued playing. then started disturbing angel n Eva who were sleeping.





ya, to have my own baby, I need to make sure I have ways to make my children sleep. or else trouble myself only. told my sis this too, make sure she will have a way to make her baby sleep that I can use it, or else I won't help her to take care her baby :p






for me, I sing to make my children sleep. from very 1st day of their lives, I been doing this. to make it a routine, I make milk for them, give them their sleeping partner, then I sing. normally I sing the same song list. few songs after they fall asleep.

not only to make them sleep, as a caregiver, we need to have way to make our babies calm down. and the way we are using, must be some idea which other ppl can help u to take care baby. last time, my brother used to have mp3 song saved in his handphone, the song I always sing for angels to make them calm n sleep. so when children are too noisy in the car or being cranky, my brother plays the song. when the music is in, they sit down n calm down or prepare their mood to slumberland :)

sister always helping me to sleepkan my bbb. she sings few songs of my playlist, then a must sing song of her - my bonnie. we normally do this, when I am busy for some other things, children are sleepy but still being playful, or when we want to go out happy hours, but no one taking care bbb except the maid sister :p

last nite, I really felt for those mothers who always complain tired of making the baby sleep. or baby stays up late in the midnight, playing toys or watching cartoon when papa n mama suppose to have a good night sleep for tomorrow energy. so if u r having baby, you may try this way. when baby is big already, then cannot lo, like last night I sang for yujet, he smiled at me, ten sat up n enjoyed my singing, treating it like a karaoke session :S

normally, few songs are enough to make them sleep. children grow up when they sleep well. active brains can rest too. children who have enough sleep are tend to have calm feeling to learn things around ^^ sometime, my bbb sing for themselves, then fall asleep :)

for my case, I release my stress too when I sing songs to my babies. maybe, ppl may get stressed with my voice :p relationship between mama n babies tighten, when you sing softly n pat your babies to sleep, they feel secured n trustworthy ^^

ps: without singing, my bbb sleep too when they are really tired n tak tahan.

Thursday

another day to Friday. then Saturday - laogong come back home, salary out day, bonus surprise ^^


this morning got mail from laogong. hmm seems tiring huh, go out at 5:30am for work. the weather is very cool. in Malaysia, raining day too.

am in train station now, miss my bed, so sleepy n tired. taking care nephew yujet last nite. so active in the midnight :~ but luckily he didn't cry for papa n mama. miss today train my 1min. hmmm..

10 years

how long is 10 years?





10 years made a happy family :)

our 10years together day is soon to come. sometime I would think, it was just yesterday I knew laogong when we met often at one-shopping mall. in this 10 years, how long we are sleeping together? laogong works oversea, laogong stays with his mum for shorter distance to the office. I stayed with my mum for better care during my pregnancies. I stay with my parents for better care of my bbb.

up n down in these 10 years. from single to a mother of 3 bbb ^^ traveling with sister is more frequent than with laogong :p so I hope we can travel more with bbb in coming 10 years :)



today, laogong flies again to Taiwan. hope for a safe journey and come back safely :)

listening to this song in the train station. a raining morning, traffic is slow. laogong will fly to Taiwan this afternoon. Saturday I will get back to music classes with royee n Eva since laogong is away.

soon gonna be April. time flies. have done my income tax submission. gonna renew my roadtax by this week. shouldn't be any more due dates to catch up. is time to work on sis's wedding preparation. start looking for nice songs for some video editing.

royee doing painting while I was cooking last sunday. angels were taking afternoon nap. I fried cuttlefish. can sit down n enjoy the foods and cold soya bean with laogong. suddenly, I felt free. sometime i do rethink, would I feel bored if I stop working? when bbb might not my full companion when the need of freedom is needed by them?



sometime, in working day, bbb were playing together in the room and I sit down n chit chatting with mum or watching drama series. hmm they lock te door sometime, coz they dont want maid sister to disturb. hmmm bbb are big now. I do think to start my interest to learn new skill.



sewing is one of them. did ask laogong to buy a sewing machine for my birthday gift :p then I want the soup maker too! laogong said, u want everything! no aa, am asking for a portable DVD player from sis :p coz my mini laptop has no DVD player, and now I have the mood to watch movies or drama series. but it cost nearly rm1k. gonna kill my sis then :p April, is a good month to ask for everything :D



ok ok, better deal for sis is - buy me some pots and vege seeds for my gardening syiok! much much cheaper right? I like to see the seeds grow up to be something totally different look than the seed look. amazing. and n I see HOPE too!

think of the sudden death of a company colleague who got heart attack in the office, watched the video clip on japan tsunami happened last Friday, thinking of my best friend who decided to visit japan as per her existing plan which the nuclear radiation warning is still on.. thinking if heart attack happened to my papa at work, sad stories happen to my friends and family.. hmmm so hope, everyone gies to where they want to be.

just now, angel and Eva told me, they want to go up to the heaven, the hell is for devils. hmm I imagine angels are flying in the heaven ^^
