bought kiwi cake mix from Bagus. nthe taste is good, just a bit sweet to me :D children didnt eat much, maybe they dont like kiwi taste, so i brought some for my collegues in the office for the morning tea time snack :D

mie ar, last weekend u told me this '自从我得了女人病后，我才开始注意健康，开始吃些菜，少吃煎炸的食物' i dont see those instant noodles packets that u bought are under 'healthy food catergory' lo! if u want to save money, u can eat bread with eggs, bihun soup with eggs, plain porridge with eggs.. this should be much much better than your instant mee with eggs lo. somemore u and bruce together eating for 8 days! so, after the 8 days then wait for maggie mee promotion pula izzit?

remember the story papa used to tell us when we were small? A stingy family wants to save money, so the family bought a big salted fish n hang it on the wall, so everyday they eat plain porridge with soy sauce by looking n imagine they are eating the porridge with the salted fish. Then after 2 years, they are rich, they have saving of $2000. then father tells the family, ‘since we have money now, come, lets eat the salted fish, n taste it!’ 1 family happily finishing the salted fish. The next days, they admitted to the hospital due to food poisoning. N they spent the $2000 that they saving in the past 2 years, to settle the medical bill.

U got the moral of the story? U r saving money by losing your health. When u r rich 1 day, u got no healthy body to enjoy your leisure life. Want to travel japan with u, don’t know u larat or not. haiyo.. really don’t know what to say la. I know, now u like to tell ‘不要忘记我头脑很乱的！’ I think u r having short circuit in your brain. Your brain functions confusingly, but u r POOH ok! Winnie the Pooh always saying ‘think! think! think!’ royee also knows this. can u think it wisely. If u continue doing this n asking kueh tiao goreng or thosai tissue better, then why u need to spend hundreds in pharmacy last weekend for all those healthy food supplement?

Even kakak concerns about your health. I told her about your woman illness last Sunday night coz she asking me when u want to have your bb. Then last night she came to my room, ‘mum, sir kan nak pergi Indonesia besok, mum boleh suruh sir beli daun sirih dari sana, sirih di Indonesia sangat murah’ and before she went to sleep, she came to my room again ‘mum, sirih beli banyak tidak apa, boleh simpan dalam peti sejuk’ I told papa about this, papa said don’t need to buy sirih from Indonesia, if u need it, he will buy if from banting market. Then papa n mama talking about u. u see la, everyone is concerning about your health, n u r happy with the cintan mee promotion! Haiyah!!

royee 1st dental checkup

Last Saturday I went to scale n polished my teeth. Then I brought royee as well for his 1st dental checkup. While I was filling up the registration forms, royee was looking to all the newspaper cutting n pictures on problematic teeth condition. ‘mummy.. ni kan’ (mummy, look here) ‘yes, wait har, mummy doing registration’ then a while ‘mummy..’ ‘yes baby, wait har’ I wrongly filled the form, I put in all my particulars in royee’s form L ‘mummy, have u done? why so slow de?’ then a while ‘mummy, when u r done, then come here..’ I knew this boy must be confused on something.

Hmmm all those picture, hmm some with swelling lips or bleeding teeth :( I explained to him, this article telling what n that article describing what.. until he truly satisfied with all my explanation. Then we sat down n waited for dentist calling. I went to take a cup of warm water, so I mixed the cold water with hot water. ‘mummy, why u must put 2 waters in a cup?’ ‘then only we can get warm water ma’ ‘why 1 blue water, 1 hot water’ hmmm whenever he is not satisfied with the answer given, then he got so many follow up questions. Mummy was so patient in this Q&A session (have to la). ‘u see, hot water, sooo hot, how to drink? Then old water, very cool right? Also no good to drink. So, (explaining science topic with my 2 hands) this cold water (left hand move to the center) mix with this hot water (right hand move to the center n join with left hand) so, gang gang hao! Not very cool, n not very hot. Right?’ then he followed what I showed n he did it again, explained to himself. Then satisfied n explained it to me :D

Ok, we went in to the room, the dentist wanted to check royee 1st. then royee sat down on the ‘operation chair’ with serious face. when the dentist pulled down the chair, royee was still sitting there, then I asked him to lay down. But, his left hand was still in the air, so funny to see this, he must be so nervous n didn’t know what to do. ‘royee, put your hand down’ the dentist helped her, everyone in the room hahaha :p then he opened his mouth n quietly let the dentist did the checkup. His teeth are ok, only need to do some polishing. Not now, 5 years old, when he gets used to dental checkup.

Then dentist talking to royee – in English

Dentist: u r a good boy. U have nice teeth. Do u brush your teeth everyday?
Royee: hmm (nod his head)
Dentist: how many times a day?
Royee: (showing 1 finger)
Dentist: oooo 1 time :D
Royee: (another finger up)
Dentist: ohhh twice! U brush your teeth twice a day. When do u brush your teeth? Morning?
Royee: (nod his head)
Dentist: and time before u go to sleep?
Royee: nod his head again)
Dentist: wahhh such a good boy. So u continue taking good care of your teeth ok?
Royee: ok.

Tell u, I don’t know my boy can understand English conversation. Especially when he telling the dentist how many times he brushes his teeth a day. On the way back home,

Royee: mummy, we need to go to clinic to check our teeth, then jing cha (police) will be there right?
Mummy: what jing cha? Why jing cha needs to be there for your teeth?
Royee: just now the doctor said, next time go clinic then got POLICE (in English)
Mummy: ... ohhhh.. baby, it is not POLICE, it is POLISH! To polish your teeth. Not jing cha
Royee: har?..
Mummy: jing cha is P.O.L.I.C.E and polish the teeth n polish the shoes is P.O.L.I.S.H.. CE and SH is different
Royee: S got sssssss snake sound one.. C is ke..ke..ke.. police... polish..sh..sh....
Mummy: yes. So it is not policeman :)

Hehehe.. cute :p didn’t know he can catch the dentist word in the conversation. The moral of the story, I cant speak English to laogong if we want to tell secrets or parenting strategic tactic. Royee understands! Hmm.. mandarin cannot, hokkien he understands much more, malay he learns from kakak, English he knows too.. wow.. we shall sms then :p

bali 2009 - day 1

as usual, we woke up n prepared ourselves in the morning, this time, we managed to send bbb to the kinder :D talking to the teachers to know bbb development progress in the kinder :) beloved papa sent me n laogong to kl lcct airport. it was still early to checkin our flight tickets. managed to check out bodyshop member day sale in the new opening outlets, and took our breakfast at marry brown restaurant. bought gardenia bread as backup food.

there were long-Qs at immigration counters. it was a bit warm there, ppl can kill the time by reading all the advert brouchers by travel agencies. it was 3pm+ cant wait to eat my gardenia bread :S our tour guide been waiting us ^_^ smart laogong lo, luckily we booked everything before we reached bali, or else with so many tour guides n ppl approaching us, we might caught in the middle, n didnt which travel agent to choose n didnt know how to benchmark the price.

once got in the MPV, we wallop the bread! we were so hungry n thirsty! then started our bali tour :D

left the tanjung? beach (sorry, i cant recall the place name), we heading to the place where we can see nice sunset according to our tour guide. then suddenly laogong asked about Dream Land. the tour guide told us, we passing by dream land, but we wont go in, coz we need to pay the entrance fee, n spend money there for drink or food, then only we can sit n visit there. he told us, not worthy. so we just dropped by n snapped pic. but, next time, if i visit to bali again, i may want to visit this place by paying money. according to travel guide, it is a paradise!

after the show, heading back to the hotel. it was 8pm+ we have yet to checkin the room, n taking our dinner (lunch?). suddenly laogong asked about spa n massage. then the tour guide said can bring us to his friend place for spa, he called n booked for us. we reached the spa home at 8:30pm. rushed in the toilet before i asking anything about the package :( no fluid intake, n less time to go to the toilet, i got light urine infection :S

bath tub with nice flower smell! surprise to see this after 1 hour full body massage, body scrub, full body mask n milk+essential oil treatment! so nice to have warm water shower n rendam myself in the warm bath tub. everything seems so nice! xing fu ooo!

laogong n me shared a same room. he was having 2 hours full body massage. after taking shower, he tumpang my package bath tub :p

after the spa, it was 10pm. we went to our hotel room for late check-in. the hotel environment is so natural n nice, but we got no time n mood to enjoy the starry night (so many stars!!! made me full more xing fu ooo :p) we were so hungry till we forgot about we were not taking much food for this tiring trip :S

peg's. this small shop near to pub area. the couple sitting there playing chess n waiting for customer.. so peaceful n romantic :)

i asked for tissue papers. as i got a bit cold after the spa n 'longer time' in bath tub :p it took quite long time for the gal to give me the tissue, i thot she forgot already. suddenly she came to me, with the tissue papers on the plate 'sorry, this is the softest tissue i manage to find in this store, hope u dont mind' aaaaaahh.. so touched!!! even a simple request, she fulfil your requirement with heart!

the drinks. i got myself watermelon with a little bit salt (afraid i got fever coz under hot sun) the gal given me the extra salt in bottle :) laogong ordered straberry fizzy drink + milk. actually it got a glamour name, i lupa. laogong like this!

after the late dinner, we walked back to the hotel. on the way, we saw so many white ppl having fun around. n local ppl sitting at the roadside, front of closed shops, chit chatting, drinking. so harmorny :) stopped at 24-hours mini mart, bought drinking water.

in the hotel, still larat to view all the photos that we snapped using the tv. laogong brought the tv cable too :p nice also, 2 of us talking about the trip, comment about ppl photography skill 'this one should be left a bit' 'this is too near' 'hey, my double chins!' 'laogong, u look matured already.. a bit old' 'u look pretty in this pic' :) i feel sweet n warm having this photo viewing session.. heart melted at the moment, 2 of us watching 2 of us in the tv with all nice scenaries ^_^
