day without bbb
gonna leave bbb for few days, team building at port Dickson. last time I felt easy to leave children, nowadays I have so many thoughts n concerns. the strong bonding is there. thinking about their homework, bed time story, morning birdie singing hmmm. asked my maid sister to take good care of bbb while I am not around.
1 day a mummy, forever mummy. now I getting more understanding, why parents nagging so much no matter how old the children are ^_^
oh btw, teacher said she wanted to choose royee for singing competition, this news made up my day :D in fact, angel's teacher told me about the same on last Thursday, but I am not sure if this confirmed.

sentimental
a note to kinder teacher

ya, wonder since when, my feeling is so sensitive n sentimental, I am always in my wet eyes, happy, touching, see children singing, listening to touching advertisement, singing songs.. but most of the time I cry when I am feeling good. compare to sadness, I seldom cry because I am sad or hurt ^_^ still can't accept myself crying in the last year kinder graduation ceremony, when all the 6 years old children wearing the gown n sing 'negaraku' hahahaha :D I just felt so touching lo! if my children were in the group, I might pengsan kot :p

don't give up
last night I went back home, royee was sleeping. mama told me royee was quiet the whole day. around 9pm he woke up, I talked silly stories to cheer him up.
took my camera, I asked angel sing few songs. royee joined us too. most of the songs, he forgot the lyrics, can see him hate himself n looked so frustrated. end up, he went out the room. took his crayon n asked me for papers, he non stop drawing. few times he stopped drawing, n came to me 'ahhh mummy, I know how to sing already' then he started singing, then forgot the lyrics again, then he was sad n got back to his drawing.
it is so hurt to see all these scenes, I know he is trying hard n thinking ways to prove to everyone including himself which he is smart in some ways. he felt sad n down, when again n again he failed to do to perfection. my heart is breaking :~
before I slept, he came in to my room quietly, I offered my hug to him. I hugged him tightly. I showed him 'ging gang goolie' movie clip to him. his smile is so light :( then I decided to tell him stories.
1st, as the idea given by Mei, I told royee the real story of Thomas Edison. how the teachers didn't want him to be in their schools, how the mother teach him at home. how the neighbours laugh at him n the mother for the 1000 times of failure. I shared with royee how this great person accepted the failure as ways didn't work out. n now we have light in the house because of Thomas hardwork n never give up attitude.
I shared with royee some other great ppl stories, who invented the airplane, telephone, papers. of course, I added some silly funny elements in the story eg if no paper, then royee gonna bring a full bag of sands to the school together with 2 tree branches, the teacher gonna be tired to clean the table of sands everyday. at last, he hahaha :D
I reminded him the bible story how Noah build the ark in years. he didn't give up in completing God's mission, no matter how other ppl teasing him n the family. times, I asked royee to give himself time to practise n be better everyday.
I showed my hand to him. I told him we have 5 fingers here with different sizes n measurements. each of the fingers has different functions. we can't dislike 1 of them because it is small or fat. then I told him, mummy is good at baking the cake (konon la), but mummy can't sing very well with ducking voice, then the little finger is drawing, mummy can't draw well. then royee shared with me, his five fingers with his talent :) the longest middle finger is story telling :D then I said 'ya! u always share with me stories u heard from Sunday schools which mummy can learn from u!' he looked happy now :)
I told him, in order to be a true no.1 is not how smart u r in studying, your heart, u must do things with your good heart, be a kind hearted person, care for people this is most important attitude. n never give up yourself.
shared with royee our Malaysian angkasawan dr sms story when he was 10 years old, he told himself he wanted to be an astronaut in the future, he wanted to see the outer space. so he study hard, having good health, be a doctor.. he prepared himself for the day, he can have chance to fly up to the outer space. we need dream n wishes, we need to work in a right way for our dream if we really wish to realise it.
so royee left my room happily, can hear he talking loudly 'waipo 'waipo, I tell u, the king is a bad king, he cooked the 3 men, but suddenly 3 men became 4! why? because another one is an angel!...' he sharing the bible story with grandma. I smiled n I know, he is feeling ok now ^_^ thank you Lord for giving me knowledge in building up confidence level for this little boy :)

2 ends feelings
so happy for eva's achievement, top 5 in the chinese flash cards reading. hope she can always at her best in learning stages. hope that not only academic, good attitude n social skills too!
at the same time, I feel so sad for
royee's feeling towards her sis's achievement. royee saw sis n his classmates performance on stage, got their trophy. over the weekend, he did ask several times, why I can't be like that? he looked down. I want him to learn about losing feeling, but at the same time, I don't want this hurting feeling kills his confidence.
me been feeling not ok, don't know how to use a right way to make him feel better. of course I can't follow the layman term, 'because u r stupid ma, they all are smater than u ma' this is hurt! when I heard my kaima told this to royee :~
this morning, while driving to work, I call up the kinder. I told the headmistress the while story, n seek her professional view to comfort royee's feeling. I have confidence with her to make royee feel better.
along the journey, I sing this song, I really hope royee can understand this,he has his talents which might not same with her sisters. so, be a happy learner in this school of LIFE.
I cried, when I sing this repeatedly in the car :~

Word contest
Yesterday got notice from the kinder, eva is 1 of the winners for word recognition contest for 4 years old class. So tonight we are not going back to bkt31, and we gonna skip tomolo morning music class, 1 family will go to the kinder to support eva n her classmates for the word recognition performance as well as yahoo! for her award :D

Am eating bun in the train n blogging :p I just can't help myself, coz I am super hungry!
1st day with bangsrei in the house, this morning I also wake up early. We managed to prepare ourselves before 7.40am! So still have time for bbb n me to watch tom n jerry till 8.05am :) happily go to the kinder n work.
The maid is ok, smile when u talk to her, maybe she doesn't understand me most of the time :p we communicate with very basic English n sign language. Luckily my parents can speak English n my children big already, or else, not easy then in term of having a combodian maid in the house, especially no other supervisor at home. I have given the time table to the agency, n they wrote my maid the translation in Khmer. As what the agency told me, we have to non stop telling n showing the maid what to do coz they don't understand much.
So far, my maid do all things by her own. She might not follow the flow with our daily schedule, but at least the housework done. She does speak with me in her language, I shake my head to tell her I don't understand :p paper n pen I use when she can't understand what I am talking. Last night I teach her Monday Tuesday.. Sunday. Bbb teach her eyes, nose, mulut/mouth, hand, leg. Then i show her picture dictionary, she read for me bowl, spoon, plate.. I teach her newspaper, curtain, n many more things in the house. Hehe only 1st night she needs to learn so many things! :p
Ok lo, my bbb are quite easy going type, get well with the sister quite fast. 1st conversation between royee n the maid was 'hi, my name is shone jay thea royee hehe' :p children are quite well adapt to new changes, now they speak English to the sister, 'sister, I want milk' 'sister, this is my barney' macam macam la.. Bbb showed the maid the toilet new deco, 'sister u look, look monkey n ziraff' the sister smiled at them only :) guess that with these 3 talkative bbb, the maid can understand us much faster.
Thanks papa n mama for being patient training the maid. N thanks to bbb for being friendly with the new maid. hope that my choice going to bring me easy days for the 2years. May God continue lead me n fanily to better arrangement. All of the wishes n pray in Jesus name, amen :)
Ps: will go to klcc kinokuniya, hope I can get a English-khmer dictionary. Btw, 'bang-srei' sounds as 'boon-si-rei' the maid read for me :)

Bang-srei
On leave today. After a great facial service from Banting Herbaline, now I am on the way to the maid agency to pick up my combodian. Since communication is the biggest challenge from what I read from the forum n experience from my friends, I bring royee with me in the car, so at least I can talk to someone who understands me :p
I asked bbb to call the maid 'sister'. At 1st I wanted them to call the maid in Khmer language, but I don't know how to pronounce it correctly. 'bang' for brother, 'bang-srei' for sister. Got this from iPhone application :)

Toilet deco
Because of my papa n mama ankle n knees prob, we had changed the toilet bowl from squat to sitting style before my mum's knees operation. I always find it blank n empty in the toilet. N the 4 wall holes made me feel imperfect. St last, I got some deco got it..

aloha friday~
day by day, friday n friday again! :D got call from the center, my iphone replacement unit has arrived, so will go to collect it by tomorrow. hope that after this i can blog and read online more often. got call about my maid arrival too! at last she will arrive malaysia by tomorrow night, after 2-3 days training at agency, guess that we can bring her back home by wednesday night. i need to prepare some picture dictionary for the maid n my family to communicate well. tomorrow we will have my mum's bday party and appreciation dinner (mum's knees operation) at bkt31. so we gonna be busy from tonight till sunday lo.
how am i doing these days? hmmm nothing much, just normal routine daily schedule. feeling happy and eating well :p everyday looking for weekend, so i can meet up with sis then MAKAN! relax at bkt31 after bbb weekend classes. guess what? i finished reading 2 love novels last weekend! wow.. those u love me, i cannot love u, then he loves her.. those young gals LOVE hor, me this auntie read it..and got addicted to it! sis n i watched LOVE movie too at cinema. i told laogong hor, "yala, read ppl love stories to fill up the emptiness in my heart ma" laogong "u got not enough love meh?" :p just got new boss to replace my curent boss who is leaving to another department soon, hope everything gonna be okay. new ladyboss is my gang too la, just hoping, friendship wont change when the status changed. mama's knees are recovering, can start shopping n do housework, so less temper now. so i wont feel much pressure at home for not doing the housework tip-top, can curi tulang a little bit lo :p congrates to my cousin yen, who just got her baby boy delivered. she is my another sis, apart from my gila poohmehmeh sis :p so happy for yen. time flies, yen became mummy and my poohmehmeh gonna have her wedding soon! next year june, seem to be so far, but she needs to start preparing for her wedding NOW! lose weight (me too have too :S), looking for bridal house, wedding pic, furniture, then this n that.. coz we have only weekend to prepare, and she always bring work back home on weekend, somemore her laogong is not with her right now.. so, gambattee neh! i will be busy too for her wed - 1st todo list, 'come, we go jogging every weekend, u also need to lose weight, or else u cannot get nice dress to wear on my wedding' wahhhh...
bbb growing well, taller, heavier, nottier! they dont mummy is phobia to SNAKE! so now they everyday talking about snake! showing snake pictures, holding black belt with sort of skin snake texture.. eeeeeeeeeee... when i asked them to stop talking about snake, then they talk about other animals - white snake COW, white snake PIG, white snake MONKEY :( mummy will get heart attack soon!!!

royee's prayer
royee is having diarrhea, n little stomach upset (left bottom black pic). so he is charging battery (right light green charger) and smoke out from the left red tube. 2 wheels on the legs, so royee can go to the toilet faster.
